Our Mission
The Panamanian Folkloric Group of Hampton Roads is one of many currently established in the United States. Our mission – is
to promote the Panamanian culture through our folkloric music, spectacular regional dances, magnificent displays of art, and
colorful costumes.
In
addition to promoting our culture, our group holds the important social task of keeping our Panamanian community together.
We continue to celebrate important holidays in traditional Panamanian ways.
Celebrating our Panamanian festivities and holidays helps us remember who we are and where we come from. But
most importantly, the celebrations bring culture awareness and diversity to our communities and serves as the bond as we share
our beautiful culture with people from all backgrounds in the Hampton Roads area.
